I have a famous cat with over 21 thousand followers, and I'm writing and illustrating a children's book based on the story of how he was found. In the story a young girl called Kate finds him on the pavement on her way home from school. I have now completed five of the 17 illustrations (above: Kate with the kitten, and next door neighbour Miss Conduct). I took a week off work to prepare a mock-up of the book, and last week I sent the mock-up, the manuscript and these two finished illustrations to a publisher! I would love to have the book picked up by a publisher, so please keep your fingers crossed for me. (My kitten Bruce has his paws crossed, too.)
